Spiders?!?!

Shand furrowed his brow for a minute, then covered it up with a smile. "Haha, brilliant two-timing mastermind....haha... give him my best," Shand smiled as she walked away, mumbling between his teeth. "Trust me, I will be saving my best for you..."

She walked off somewhere behind the shed to nogotiate with Vrangr.

"Anyone want seconds?" Chantelle asked as she looked at the bowls, "I've got enough."

Shand smiled, rather smug with himself, and strode back through the yard, past Xyle and Daric.
"Don't kill each other too much," He said in passing as he re-entered the house.
"You guys miss me?"

Rhain glanced at Shand from the corner of his eye, "Not really." He held up his bowl for seconds.
Chantelle took it and walked over to her little master piece, "Of course we did, Shand." She glared at Rhain for a split second then went back to getting him another serving.

"I had a feeling you would," Shand said to Chantelle while glaring at Rhain, then sticking his tongue out at him. "Well, I've decided that I can put up with all of your legal-ness for a while... and it won't kill me. So if you were planning a party or something, I'm sorry that won't be possible now."

Rhain rolled his eyes and took the bowl from Chantelle as she handed it to him.
"Anyone seen Sapphir lately?" Eroll said as he walked down the stairs, "We were going to-"
"Talk politics, we know." Rhain cut in as he glared at the food in the bowl.

Shand watched as he walked in. "What kind of politics?"
Vered and Jurrien almost got whiplash from turning their heads to stare at Shand.
"What? I'm just curious is all..."

"The royal kind, to put it simply." Eroll shrugged and walked by to the back door.
"Boring!" Rhain said as he stood up, leaving his bowl, and stomped up the stairs.

"I have some sort of royal blood in there somewhere..both sides!" Shand called as he followed Errol to the back door.

"I'd prefer just to talk with those who are actually a queen or king, Shand...it's nothing against you, I assure you."

"Well then! I'll have you know that if," Shand looked up and bit his tongue in concentration, counting on his fingers. "That if my dad dies...my brother dies...and my uncle dies...and my cousin dies... I would be a king," Shand made a face discreetly. "Not that I'd be wanting that to happen at all..."

"Would you kill them to get the thrown? That comes up in conversation occassionally..."

"To get the throne? Ha, no!" Shand laughed. "For other reasons...maybe... ooh, wait, I suppose there'd be a lot of money connected with that... I take back my answer..I'm not sure anymore..."

"Will someone take him somewhere else, please?" He then walked out the door.
Chantelle sighed, "He only talks about that stuff with the other direct royals...we've all been rejected at least once."

"I suppose it doesn't count to be like pirate royalty?" Shand asked as he continuted to follow him. "I owned, like, three fourths of every ship in the water once! And pretty much all the gold, too! Does that count?"

"Just leave him be, Shand." Aeren warned, "He's an elitist..."

"Well just because we're not the same kind of elite doesn't mean I'm not a good eavesdropper!" Shand said with a wink as he walked out following Errol.

"who is he spying on? Sapphir isn't even here so he won't have a conversation to listen to." Aeren frowned.

"Well, if you're lonely and have no one else to talk to," Shand yelled ahead of him at Errol. "Ahem..."

Aeren rolled his eyes and looked back down at his bowl
"Shand, do you want any?" Chantelle held a bowl up then put it down on the counter

"Put some plastic wrap or something on it for me, will you?...I have some annoying to do," Shand called, then turned back to Errol. "AHEM..."

Errol rolled his eyes, "No, Shand, go annoy someone else...someone more on your level."

"Oh, thats where you're wrong, my friend," Shand smiled. "We could talk battle strategy and the like all day long...but I understand if you're worried that you would get confused....I don't want to make you feel inferior at all, so I'll go my own way now..."

Errol shrugged,"alright then... " he continued to walk away, not affected by what Shand had said.

Shand rolled his eyes. "Easily offended people make this much easier...and I had you pegged as the overly prideful type, too...." He folded his arms.
